Returns Policy

As our items are 100% handmade to order we do not generally offer returns.  However, if for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us to discuss a return.  If a return is granted for reasons other than damage or error we will issue a refund minus the cost of shipping.  If the return is requested for damage due to shipping or error on the part of Ginger-N-Pickles a full refund will be granted.  In the case of damage during transit we request that you work with us and the USPS to accommodate the damage claims process as all shipments are insured with the USPS. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  All requests for return or damage MUST BE MADE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT.  Beyond 5 days of receipt the purchase is not eligible for refund.

 Unfortunately custom or personalized signs CANNOT be returned once the product moves into our production process.  Custom signs are personalized for the individual customer making them impossible to resell to another customer.  The production process usually begins within 24 hours of placement of order.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases the process is completed more quickly.  This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (3 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 3 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 10 business days).

All of our signs are custom made to order.  Each sign takes a minimum of three days to make in order to allow proper drying time between each layer of paint and the final wax sealant.  This time does increase due to the number of orders we receive during peak gift giving seasons.  However, we do try to keep a few of our most popular items in stock.  Your order may ship out within 24 hours, but, it is more typical for an order to take 3 to 5 business days to complete and process.

We ship most items via USPS Priority Mail which normally takes 2 to 3 business days for delivery.  Delivery via the post office generally takes a little longer during peak shipping times, holidays, and weekends.  International orders vary greatly depending on the recipient country's customs and postal processing service.

Please also note that the shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. Unfortunately, all rates are rounded up to the next full pound by all of the shipping companies we use including the USPS.  This is beyond our control however we are mindful of our packaging and make sure that each shipment is processed being mindful of safe and cost effective delivery.
